bought another dress on the occasion of the April fully ...
Rochas is a project (Spring 2006), inspired by Monet's paintings.
Monet is one of my favorite artists, so cruelly flattened by innumerable reproductions on mugs, parasolkach, magnets, etc.
but this dress is a true work of art.
this month's full moon on Collage Caffe - went shopping in and I bought yet another dress ...
it's from spring 2006 collection Rochas and it was inspired by Monet's paintings of waterlilies.
Monet is one of my favorite painters, so cruelly Treated nowadays, so flattened by the countless copies on mugs, umbrellas, fridge magnets, etc..
but this dress is a work of art in itself.
(the text says):
"the poetry of an object"
you on the right is a Monet of course, monsieur. Photo right shows the size of one of the images in the subject of water lilies. no reproduction does not give the impression that one has standing before this picture.
quote right: "I theme for me is unimportant factor. What I want to give, is what lies between the motif and me." / Claude Monet /
the gentleman on the left is Monsieur Monet himself. The photo shows the real size of one of his waterlilies paintings.
no copy will render ever make you feel the way you do standing right in front of it.
the quote on the left: "To me, the motif is an Insignificant factor, what I want to reproduce is what lies Between the motif and me." / Claude Monet /
